Piano Pleasure is owned and managed by Peter and Karen Maher, who are trained and experienced professionals. They are always ready to guide and assist customers in finding the ideal piano for their needs.
Peter is a piano builder and tuner of note, having tuned pianos for many well-known artists and organisations such as: the SABC; Linder Auditorium; University of the Witwatersrand; Johannesburg College of Education; Pro-Musica; Royal School of Music; Trinity College; the University of South Africa and others.
He completed a five year apprenticeship at a piano factory in the early seventies, and has been on his own ever since, operating as: "Peter Maher Piano Tuner".
Piano Pleasure was established in 1994 as a separate business specializing in piano sales and restoration. Today they draw clientele from all around South Africa and neighboring countries.
